Escape from the busyness of every day life! Relax and Restore!
This mini-retreat is designed to relax and restore your body and mind.
Yoga practice will be based on restorative yoga, in order to enable healing through rest. Reclining postures are fully supported with blankets, bolsters and other props, and you will remain in them long enough to allow the parasympathetic nervous system to return the body to its natural, un-stressed state. In this context, “rest” is somewhere between sleep and wakefulness, and the experience is meant to be totally effortless, comfortable and relaxing.
Yoga Nidra or Yogic Sleep will also be practiced for deeper relaxation and balancing of the left and right hemispheres of the brain.
Delicious plant based lunch will be served to support the process of healing and restoration.
Mats, cushions, bolsters and other props are provided.
